To give birth to genius

Goethe said that genius consists of 1% of talent and 99% of work. The modern investigations show that 20-30% depend on the education and personal work of the person to become genius and 80% means the innate abilities. In other words it is difficult to give birth to genius and it is impossible to educate genius. What to do to have genius child? And is it real?

There is the connection between the intellect of the child and its parents. And highly intellectual parents will give birth to highly intellectual children. But if the intellect of ancestors is higher than the average level, a child will be born smart but still not so good as mummy and daddy. Well, in fact 50% should be taken from mother and 50% from father. But even Nietzsche said that greatness of great people is from mother and the father is only the accident.

There is another interesting belief that geniuses are born from old fathers and young mothers. But this is the mistake. The problem is that the examples of it are usually people of the past. And at that time all men were getting married after 30 while parents of girls tried to marry their daughters as younger as possible. That is why almost all people of that time were born from old fathers and young mothers.

German scientists even made an interesting formula according to which the age of mother must be the half of the age of father plus seven years. Probably it was connected with the wisdom of parents.
